Filamint — Privacy Policy

Filamint is a 3D print cost & pricing calculator for iPhone. The short version: your data stays on your device, we run no servers, and we don't track you.

On-device data

Everything you enter in Filamint — printer and filament profiles, calculations, saved quotes, spool inventory, and settings — is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to us or to any cloud service by the app, and it is deleted when you delete the app. PDF quotes you export are shared only where you choose to send them.

What we collect

Filamint contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We do not collect your name, email address, location, or contacts. The only data processing happens when you interact with in-app purchases, described below.

Third parties — purchases

Filamint Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. To validate purchases and restore them across reinstalls, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous, randomly generated app-user identifier and purchase information (such as the product purchased and transaction date). This is used solely for app functionality, is not linked to your identity, and is not used for tracking or advertising. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and never reach us or RevenueCat.

Children

Filamint does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is a utility intended for general audiences.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple; refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change (for example, adding optional iCloud sync), this policy will be updated here before the change ships, with a new "last updated" date above.
